(1) Embryonic development의 잔류물
(2) Neonate 구강 내 white, slightly raised nodule로 나타남
(3) Benign, asymptomatic condition으로 점차 사라지지만 재발할 수 있다
(4) 치료는 필요없다
A2. Geographic tongue or migratory glossitis
(1) Benign, asymptomatic condition이며, 종종 다른 질환이 있을 시 우연히 발견되기로 함.
(2) Erythema and atrophy of the papillae of the tongue surrounded by a serpiginous,
elevated white or yellow border usually located in the anterior two thirds.
(3) 치료는 필요 없으며, 시간이 지나면 자연호전되나 재발하는 경향 있음.
(4) 원인을 알 수 없으며, 아동기의 allergy와 atopy와 연관성이 있음.
A3. Mucoceles and ranulas
(1) Oral mucosa에 발생하는 small, bluish, discrete swellings
(2) 주로 minor trauma(biting lip)에 의해 발생
(3) 식사에 장애가 있거나 발음이 곤란할 때 치료하며, 재발을 방지하고자 대게 adjacent salivary gland 를 함께 제거한다.
A4. Eruption cyst
(1) Smooth, painless bluish-black areas of swelling found over an erupting tooth
(2) Benign in nature, often asymptomatic
(3) 치료는 필요없다.
