(1) Dermis 와 subcutis 의 infection / by group A streptococcus (특히 S.pyogenes)
(2) 여름에 호발 / very yound or elderly / 외상에 의해 생기기도.
(3) Cellulitis 는 erysipelas보다 deeper. but, 치료는 같다.
(4) 증상 : hot, bright red, tender, edematous, indurated plaques.
경계가 sharp하고 central clearing은 없다. vesicle, bullae는 동반될 수 있다.
(5) 일측성이면 herpes zoster를 DDx. / 양측성이면 SLE를 DDx.
(6) 치료 .: Cephalexin / child에서는 H. influenzae도 cover해야 한다.
